Prabhas Guest House Case Petition Adjourned To Friday

Actor Prabhas who had earlier moved the Hyderabad High Court on Wednesday, with regards to a guesthouse he owned in the Rayadurgam area which was seized by the revenue authorities, accused the authorities of attempting to dispossess him without a notice. He alleged that the revenue authorities had wrongfully seized his property without proper notice or intimation.

Prabhas, who was represented by his counsel said that he had purchased the land in 2005 and had also filed for its regularisation under GO number 59 and paid an amount of Rs one Crore to the Government as well. In the 84.30 acres, Prabhas had bought more than 2200 square Yards of land and built a guest house on it.

When the case came up for hearing again on today , the court said that the land was part of the property once owned by the 'Paigah' family cases and this was being heard by a separate Division bench and posted the matter to the specific division bench hearing all the cases pertaining to the Rayadurgam Paigah lands in Court No 4 of the High Court Judicature and adjourned the matter to Friday again.
