Telangana Worker Goes Missing In Dubai, MP Kavitha Steps In To Help

Vinod - Sakshi Post

Hyderabad: Amidst stories of woes cropping up of Indian workers in Gulf countries, another incident of a missing case of a 20-year-old worker in Dubai has come into light. The youth identified as Vinod went to Dubai three months ago but left his job later due to problems. However, after he left the job Vinod was untraceable.

One of his relatives Santosh took up the matter with Nizamabad MP K. Kavitha though a Twitter post. Kavitha, who is also the president of Telangana Jagruthi reverted to the tweet assuring help. She asked him to send Vindo's passport copy and all the relevant details.

Upon inquiring with Vinod's co-workers in Dubai, Santosh learnt that Vinod might have been taken by police as he had left the place of his legal employment, but is unsure where he might have been taken to. Meanwhile, Krishna Donikeni, who is in Dubai had contacted Indian Embassy for help in locating Vinod.

Vinod hails from Megyanaik Thanda village, Indalwai mandal of Nizamabad. His father died when he was five-years-old and is survived by his mother Lali Bai. He had studied up to class 10 and didn’t earn well enough to make a survival for his mother and himself.

His mother has been weeping inconsolably for his only son, who only knows that he went to Dubai to take up work for a better living.
