Regional Parties Will Rule The Roost: Kavitha

Kalvakuntla Kavitha - Sakshi Post

Hyderabad: Nizamabad MP Kalvakuntla Kavitha on Wednesday took up a Q and A session on Twitter where in she opined that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s popularity graph is on a major decline adding that AICC president Rahul Gandhi’s graph is not rising either.

Keeping this in view, Kavitha said that it was logical to assume that the regional parties would be in a better position post the Lok Sabha elections asserting that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and TRS will play a prominent role.

On Prime Minister Modi’s performance in office, she expressed disappointment as he failed to meet expectations of Telangana and the state received no benefits. Kavitha further added that Modi won't receive the support of public from Telangana this time.

When questioned about Priyanka Gandhi's entry into active politics, she replied saying that having played a guest role in politics all these years, Priyanka has been accorded a permanent role in Congress.

The MP further suggested Priyanka Gandhi to ensure Congress implements its long-forgotten promises citing the example of the slogan ‘Garibi Hatao’, coined by Indira Gandhi.

Kavitha also addressed AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu’s criticism on TRS aligning with YSRCP stating that TRS won't question the path the TDP chief takes and it should be reciprocated.
