BJP Wave Ebbing: KTR

Hyderabad: Telangana Rashtra Samithi Working President K T Rama Rao requested the people to elect 16 TRS candidates in the parliamentary constituencies in the upcoming elections.

The TRS leader here on Sunday that, “If TRS secures a win in all the Lok Sabha constituencies, it will fetch Telangana all the assured benefits from the Union government and more funds for Hyderabad development.”

KTR predicted that TRS will play a key role in the Union government in the near future. He criticized BJP and Congress, and predicted that neither of the parties are going to get a clear majority in the upcoming elections. The BJP wave was ebbing steadily and this was true of the Congress too, he added.

Talking at the Vijayotsava Sabha in Kukatpally, he added, that entire nation was looking at Telangana for its path-breaking welfare and development activities. The neighboring state along with the Union government is mulling over the Rythu Bandhu Scheme, he added.

KTR said he will make sure all the assurances given to the people will be delivered. He exuded confidence that it was people's trust in the party that TRS was voted to power. He told all the leaders from the party to engage with people, who did not vote for the party and get them to vote for TRS.

KTR added that the winning margin for TRS would have been much more if the glitches in voter list had been fixed earlier. This included Secunderabad MLA Padmarao, who would have won with a higher majority but people's votes went missing from the electoral rolls.
