MLAs Queue Up To KTR Ahead Of Telangana Cabinet Expansion

Hyderabad: Ministerial berth aspirants among the newly elected TRS MLAs are queuing up to the party's working president K Taraka Rama Rao (KTR), as Telangana CM K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) plans to appoint a mini-cabinet with eight to 10 ministers. On Thursday, several hopefuls have urged KTR for consideration to the cabinet following the former IT minister's visit to the party office after his four-day personal trip abroad.

MLAs Errabelli Dayakar Rao, C. Lakshma Reddy, Gangula Kamalakar, Bajireddy Goverdhan, Somarapu Satyanarayana and Puvvada Ajay Kumar were among the ones who met KTR. Meanwhile, KTR is focused on various party activities while KCR is in the national capital.

As per reports, KTR is conducting a series of review meetings over the party's activities. He will convene a meeting with the party secretaries at 4 pm on Friday. A host of issues--construction of TRS offices in district headquarters, voter registration and review of the Appreciation Meets conducted in various Assembly segments.

On the other side, the land sites for the party offices in 20 districts have been confirmed, search is on for lands in other districts.
