Teenage student hangs self in Hyderabad

Hyderabad:  A 16-year-old student on Friday allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself at a hostel here, police said.

The incident occurred around 5.15 am when the victim, a first-year student of a private college, was found hanging in the bathroom of the hostel at the educational institute, Madhapur Police Station Inspector K Narsimulu said. No suicide note was found and a case has been registered, he said, adding, the matter is being investigated.
