'TDP offered me Rs 20 crore to leave YSRCP'

YSRCP MLA from tribal-dominated Rampachodavaram Vanthala Rajeswari refuted the misinformation being spread in a section of media that she was leaving YSRCP to join the ruling Telugu Desam Party.

speaking to mediapersons at the Assembly media point on Tuesday, she revealed that the TDP has offered her Rs 20 crore to switch sides. "But, I refused to leave the YSRCP. I am not for sale and there is no question of my leaving the party that made me an MLA," she said.
She said an ordinery woman like her could become an MLA only due to YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and added that she would remain a YSRCP MLA till the last. She said she had joined politics only to serve the people. She asked the media to cross check the facts with her before publishing any news about her.
YSRCP MLA Giddi Eswari too refuted the misinformation campaign and said that the TDP was unable to tolerate the popularity of YSRCP in the tribal areas. she said the TDP was a sinking ship and asked why would anyone get aboard a sinking ship. She advised the media to verify the facts before publishing any news about the tribal MLAs.
