MIM now puts up posters saying Hindustan Zindabad
In what appears to be a comedown from the strident posturing on the issue of chanting "Bharat Matha Ki Jai," the Majlis Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM) has put up banners and flexies across the city with slogans "Hindustan Zindabad."
The flexies have been erected at several major junctions in the city. The flexies show the images of MIM supremo and MP Asaduddin Owaisi and his brother and MIM legislature party leader Akbaruddin Owaisi with slogans Hindustan Zindabad and I love my India. The posters have been put up in the name of party's key leader Shahbaaz Khan. The posters come after MIM's MLa Waris Pathan has been suspended from the Maharashtra Assembly for refusing to say Bharat Matha Ki Jai. Owaisi has stirred up a controversy when he said he would not chant Bharat Matha Ki Jai come what may.
