TDP mortgaged AP's interests: YS Jagan

YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Tuesday slammed Andhra Pradesh CM for mortgaging the interests of the state to wriggle out of the Cash for Votes scam.

Reacting to Chandrababu’s failed tour of Delhi, he said Chandrababu now says that the state would not get even the special package. During the elections, he promised special status. Now, even special package seems to be eluding us, he said.

He said Chandrababu’s acquiescence could be due to his compulsions in the Cash for Votes scam. To come out of the case, he did not raise the issue of special status or even special status.

“Special status is the right of the people of Andhra Pradesh and we shall wage relentless battle to achieve it,” he said.
