TDP men attacks YSRCP workers in Nellore

Tense situation prevailed at Erukollu village of Duttaluru mandal in Nellore district on Thursday when some TDP activists attacked YSRCP workers.

To control the situation police were deployed in large numbers to bring the situation under control. The TDP activists also attacked the police and destroyed their vehicle. One constable was injured in the melee.

TDP activists attacked YSRCP activists with stones and others. The ruckus was started when YSRCP agents objected to TDP activists for bringing some persons into polling centre (No. 108) in Erukollu to vote repeatedly.

War of words took place between the activists of both parties then.

In the incident,Chejerla Srinivasulu Reddy and Sk.Hazarat, both from YSRCP, were seriously injured.
