TDP In NDA Coalition Only For Personal Gains

Hyderabad: Reiterating that Chandrababu Naidu has been placing personal interests above state interests, the YSR Congress has said that special status and Polavaram are important for ensuring the development of Andhra Pradesh.

Even after Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley had categorically stated in Parliament that special status is not possible, the TDP continuance in the coalition is ridiculous,’ party MLA Kotamareddy Sridhar Reddy told reporters on Tuesday.

Though Polavaram, the lifeline of the state, has already been declared a national project, why Chandrababu Naidu is not mounting pressure on the Centre? This only goes to show that he has been placing his personal interests above state’s interests as he wants to extricate himself from various scams, including the cash for vote.
