TDP dares Cong MPs to protest in front of 10 Janpath

The Telugu Desam Telangana Forum today challenged Congress MPs from the region to stage a dharna in front of Sonia Gandhi's residence in New Delhi if they are sincere about securing statehood for Telangana.

"Stop hoodwinking people. If you have sincerity, stage a dharna in front of Sonia Gandhi's house and force her to concede the Telangana demand", TDTF convenor Errabilli Dayakar Rao said.

Talking to newsmen after a meeting of the Forum here today, Dayakar Rao demanded that the Central government should immediately table a Bill in the Parliament for the creation of Telangana state. "Don't keep the fire burning. Convene an all-party meeting or table a Bill in Parliament on Telangana", he demanded. The TDP would support the Bill, he said.
