Karthika hopes to revive career with Arun

The Southern actor's career has not been going too well, despite being part of the blockbuster Ko, last year. Karthika - the elder daughter of yesteryear heroine Radha, who is currently wrapping up veteran director Bharathiraja's comeback venture Annakodiyum Kodiveeranum, has signed a new project and is hoping it will bring a change of fortune.

Titled Deal, the film will have Arun Vijay in the lead role. Directed by debutant Siva Gnanam and produced by Feather Touch Entertainment, the movie will go on the floors in a few days. "The script has a strong role for the heroine and Karthika is happy to bag it," sources say. Sathish of Maalai Pozhudhin Mayakathiley and Marina fame will also play a key role in Deal.
