TDP, BJP Too Will Go The Congress Way: Vijayasai Reddy

YSRCP Rajya Sabha MP V Vijayasai Reddy has said that both the TDP and the BJP would meet the same fate that the Congress Party had met in Andhra Pradesh if they fail to accord Special State Status to Andhra Pradesh.

Talking to mediapersons after the debate on Special Status in Rajya Sabha, he said Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu was not bothered about the plight of the people of the state. He said Chandrababu has come to Delhi only to invite VVIPs to Krishna Pushkarams.

On Friday, Vijayasai Reddy introduced a private member bill seeking fixed time-frame to act on applications seeking disqualification of defectors. He said if the speaker cannot do, the powers should be transferred to the President. He said Chandrababu Naidu was shamelessly encouraging defections from the Opposition and demanded that the defectors should be disqualified immediately.
