T Assembly adjourned for the day

The Telangana Assembly was on Monday adjourned for the day after the opposition members protested against the Government on the issue of disrespect to the National Anthem.

As soon as the house assembled for the day, the issue of disrespect to the National Anthem rocked the house.
The TDP MLAs also raised slogans against the TRS MLAs and demanded action against defectors, who had shifted from the TDP to the TRS.
Following the ruckus, the house had to be adjourned for 10 minutes. Even when it reassembled, the defiance and disruption continued.
The TDP members were suspended for the entire budget session of the Assembly for showing "disrespect to the national anthem". But the suspended members refused to leave the house but they were evicted by marshals,
The TDP members barged into the well of the house alleging that injustice is being meted to SCs and STs in Telangana. As noisy protests continued, the speaker adjourned the House for the day.
