Assembly outrage over Dalit girl's gang-rape

The Andhra Pradesh Assembly on Monday witnessed outrage over the gang-rape and killing of a dalit girl in Chandrababu's native district of Chittoor, promoting him to announce a severely deterrent punishment to the culprit.

Recently, a Dalit girl was gang-raped and killed by four persons in the district. Speaking on the horrific incident, Chandrababu said that they will set a new precedent by nabbing the culprits and giving a punishment to that will scare future rapists.
He also announced Rs 5 lakh to the victim's family. " Soon after the incident we directed officials to nab the culprits immediately. We will give the culprits a stern punishment so that anyone would be scared to do make such crimes," he said
