Successful Operation Akarsh !

Several leaders from Congress and TDP are making a beeline to join TRS in Telangana.

TRS, which got power in Telangana in the recent elections, is also trying to strengthen itself in the state. For that purpose, it started the program ‘Operation Akarsh’ to attract the key leaders of other parties.

After three months of getting power, the TRS could attract some key leaders of Congress and TDP.

It is appearing that the TRS leadership has its separate strategies for each district in Telangana as part of attracting the leaders of other parties.

Initially, two BSP MLAs in Adilabad district, Koneru Konappa and Indrakaran Reddy, joined TRS. Later, lone Congress MLA from Mudhool in the district Vittal Reddy also joined the TRS. With this, both BSP and Congress suffered in the hands of the TRS in the district.

Several Congress MLCs from various districts also joined the ruling party. Due to these migrations, the strength of Congress was decreased in Telangana legislative council.

After that the TRS leadership concentrated on Khammam district. It could finally attract Tummala Nageswara Rao into the party. He resigned from TDP and is going to join in TRS in the first week of September.

We have to wait and see on which district TRS will concentrate next.
