Students stage statewide protest, attack min's home

There's been statewide protests by students against the government's attitude towards the fee reimbursement issue.

The furious students alleged that while the ministers' salaries have been getting frequent hikes, the government is least bothered about providing even the basic of facilities for the benefit of students.
Furious over the government's attitude, the students attempted to attack minister Parthasarathy's home with the support of  Progressive Democratic Student's Union (PDSU). However, the police obstructed them. Tension prevailed in the atmosphere after the event.
