Student Suicides: Chaitanya, Narayana Colleges Served Notices
Hyderabad: The rising numbers of student suicides in the two Telugu states seems to have caught the attention of the court. In a latest development, the managements of Narayana and Sri Chaitanya groups received notices on Tuesday.
A bench comprising Chief justice Ramesh Ranganathan and justice M. Ganga Rao of Hyderabad High court passed a judgement based on a letter submitted by Mr Dasari Emmanuel from Prakasam district. Dasari asked the chief Justice to intervene in the matter as several students in private colleges were committing suicides.

"Most of the private educational institutions in the two states belong to AP Cabinet Minister. When I raised the issue, the AP government had promised me that it will look into the issue by setting up a committee, but nothing has been done till date," he quoted in the letter.
Dasari requested the high court to register cases against the college management where the students had committed suicide.
