Student suicide sparks protests in Vijayawada college

Students of Superwhizz Institute in Vijayawada have organised a rally to protest against the college management over a student's death.

According to reports, scores of students staged a sit-in protest on the National Highway alleging that Harshawardhan Reddy ended his life unable to bear the harassment of the college management.

It may be recalled that Harshawardhan Reddy, a native of Ongole committed suicide by jumping from the college building on Friday evening..

The protestors demanded a compensation from the college management to the victim's family.
