Sorry! The BJP-TDP alliance continues

TDP to continue its marriage of convenience with BJP in the state. Ending days of speculations over the fate of the BJP-TDP alliance in Seemandhra, that had angered both the cadres and a number of senior TDP leaders, BJP leader Prakash Javadekar on Friday announced that their alliance is still on.  

The recently forged TDP-BJP alliance in the Seemandhra region was under severe criticism from party workers,who felt that Chandrababu had cut them a raw deal by allotting a number of TDP seats to BJP. The party workers had even resorted to arson and violence to make their displeasure felt. 

On the other hand, reportedly Chandrababu was contemplating breaking the alliance as he was unhappy over BJP choosing to field weak candidates in a number of state assembly constituencies in Seemandhra. As per reports, Chandrababu was also upset over Purandeshwari, his sister -in -law, with whom he has fractured relationship, getting a BJP ticket. 

In a bid to placate Chandrababu, BJP sent Javedkar to Hyderabad for talks with  TDP. After a long meeting Chandrababu, both the parties have decided to stick it out.
