Sonia, Mulayam Out Of Congress-SP Election Campaign

In what could prove to be a dampener on the Samajwadi Party-Congress Party campaign for the UP, the Congress has indicated that its chief Sonia Gandhi willl not be able to take part in the campaign.

With this Congress campaign will be without its matriarch Sonia Gandhi and the SP campaign will not have Yadav patriarch Mulayam Singh Yadav.

Sonia Gandhi will not be campaigning due to ill health. Ever since, she was treated in the US for an undisclosed ailment, Sonia Gandhi has not been keeping good health.

Few months ago, Sonia did participate in a party campaign rally, but left it in the middle due to ill health.

Mulayam Singh, who is unhappy at Akhilesh Yadav gaining complete control over the party and sidelining his Man Friday Shivpal Singh Yadav, has announced that he will not campaign for the SP. Mulayam is also opposed to the electoral pact with the Congress.
