Son kills parents, surrenders to police

A 27-year-old youth killed his father and mother over a family dispute, police said on Friday. The accused and the victims belong to Warangal district.

The accused, whose name is yet to be revealed, killed his 55-year-old father by beating him up with an axe on Thursday night over a petty issue, police added.
As per the reports, the son attacked his parents in a fit of uncontrolled rage. A conflict arose between the parents and son over the latter's marriage to his niece in Atmakur, resulting in the accused attacking his parents. The parents died on the spot.
Following the brutal murder, the accused surrendered to the police. Police filed an FIR and began investigating the case.
