Sleight of hand at ATMs

Hyderabad: An amount of Rs 7 lakh went missing from the accounts of 19 persons from an ATM of a nationalised bank in Secunderabad.

People who found the nil balance in their accounts immediately approached the bank's Picket branch. Manager pacified the worried account holders and took stock of the situation.   Immediately he alerted the authorities and the police. Police received similar complaints from other banks. Police believe its a Mumbai gang which is involved in cloning ATM cards and with-drawing cash from various ATM's.
