SIT Serves Notices To 3 Actors, 4 Producers, 2 Directors In Drug Scam

Hyderabad: The drug scandal has now hit Tollywood and few actors, technicians from the industry have been served notices on Wednesday by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) for their alleged links with the drugs mafia.

As per reports, three actors, four producers, two directors and a fight master have been served notices. They have been directed to be ready to appear before the SIT when called for.

With the drugs issue dogging the Tollywood, the Movie Artists Association (MAA) conducted a meeting on the issue and slammed those who were involved in the drug scandal. The meeting was presided by its president Sivaji Raja. Producers Suresh Babu, Allu Arvind and actor Srikanth criticised those involved in the drug scandal and said that due to the involvement of a handful of persons, the whole industry was now being blamed.
