Showers, Thunderstorms Likely In Telangana Today

Hyderabad: Hyderabadis can get more respite from the sweltering heatwave as the weather department announced light to moderate rains and thunderstorm along with squall across the state on Tuesday. A comparatively cooler weather condition is likely to continue till May 7.

On Monday Nizamabad recorded maximum temperature of 41 degrees, while Hyderabad stood at 39 degrees Celsius

"Thunderstorm accompanied with squall, with or without hail, very likely at isolated places across the state. The city might witness rain or thundershowers towards afternoon or evening," said the official. The change has been brought in due to the trough that runs from East Madhya Pradesh to Maldives area across Telangana.
