Security tightened after religious place defiled - Sakshi Post


A religious place was allegedly desecrated by some unidentified persons on Sunday night at Defence Colony locality in the city, police said. 

 The situation in the locality is peaceful and patrolling has been intensified with deployment of additional police force, a senior officer said. 

Following a complaint, the Langer Houz Police have registered a case under section 153A (promoting enmity between different groups on grounds of religion) and 295 (whoever destroys, damages or defiles any place of worship, or any object held sacred by any class of persons) of Indian Penal Code (IPC) against unidentified persons.
