Sarika death fallout: Ex-MP, wife, son taken into custody
Warangal: In a day of swift developments, former MP Sircilla Rajaiah, his wife Madhavi and son Anil were taken into custody in connection with the tragic death of his daughter-in-law Saarika and her three sons.
Based on a complaint by Sarika's mother, the police registered a case under sections 498 A and 174 of the Indian Penal Code. The police also took the troika into custody and began questioning them in the police station.
Rajaiah's daughter in law, her three children died due to burn injuries late last night after she had a massive argument with her father in law. Sarika married Anil in 2006, but had a stormy relationship with him. Already a case of domestic violence is pending against the former MP in a Hyderabad police station.
Meanwhile, Saarika's elder sister Archana said her sister was not so coward as to end her life and alleged that this was a planned murder. She demanded that MP, his wife and son should be arrested immediately. In another development, the police shifed the four bodies to Warangal's MGM hospital for post-mortem.
