Samantha To Don Producer’s Hat?

Hyderabad: Southern diva Samantha Akkineni will be seen in a new avatar. Well, this is not about her character in an upcoming film but a producer’s role. Yes, you read it right. The actress will produce a Kannada hit film U-Turn which is said to be a bilingual movie in Telugu and Tamil. Rumour mills were abuzz that Sam will quit movies after getting married. However, the actress sure knows how to end the gossip mills from moving.

A source said that the actor may take her father-in-law Akkineni Nagarjuna’s help since he has long years of experience in production. Well, this is sure to bring delight to all her fans seeing the actress in a new role.

On her work front, Samantha is busy with Telugu and Tamil films. In Rangashthalam 1985, she appears as a village belle and will be sharing screen space with Ram Charan for the first time. She will also be seen in the much awaited film Mahanati, while in Tamil she has Irumbu Thirai which is scheduled for early release next year.
