Saidapet court issues summons to Anjali

The problems of film actress Anjali appear to be far from over. 

Responding to the petition filed by Tamil film director Kalanjiyam that Anjali’s remarks had hurt the sentiments of his supporters, Saidapet Court in Chennai issued summons to the actress directing her to appear before it on May 24.

It may be recalled that Anjali did not attend the Madras High Court in the Habeas Corpus petition filed by her aunt Bharathi Devi last month. Expressing anger at the police for not presenting Anjali, the judge has directed them to produce Anjali without fail before it n the first week of June.
