Major fire at transformers gowdown creates panic

Around 300 transformers were gutted in a major fire that broke out at transformers gowdown unit at Jedcherla in Mahbubnagar on Sunday.

Several fire tenders were pressed into service to douse the fire. As the latest report coming in, efforts were underway to control it.

No casualties have been reported. The reason for the fire is yet to be ascertained.
