RTC changes gears for holiday season

The RTC is going on high gear to manage the upcoming holiday season rush. The corporation is planning to run a massive 3,855 buses in addition to the existing 3,500 route buses.
Passengers will be levied an additional 50 percent on the ticket charge for distances of over 200 kilometers. Special arrangements have been made at MGBS, Jubilee Bus Stand, Dilsukhnagar and other important bus stations, RTC's Rangareddy regional manager R Gangadhar said.
Addtionally, special buses will also start from designated RTC ticket counters in ECIL, AS Rao Nagar, KPHB, Miyapur and Ameerpet among other places.
