Mammidivaram: In what appears to be a case of police might and high-handedness, Andhra Pradesh Minister's guards shifted a RTC bus to police station for not giving way to their convoy.

The incident occurred in Mammidivaram in East Godavari district on Wednesday when Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Nimmakayala Chinnarajappa's convoy was heading from Amalapuram to Kakinada town in East Godavari district.

A special non-stop service RTC bus in the route did not give way to the Minister's convoy. Angered over this, the police personnel and the guards stopped the bus, drove it to the local police station in Mammidivaram. The policemen at the station and the passengers in the bus were taken aback by the unruly behaviour of the Minister's guards.
