Single Bulb.... But Gets Power Bill of Rs8.73 Lakh

Nellore: A person got the shock of his life after he was handed out an electricity bill to the tune of Rs 8.73 lakh for the month. Strangely, the person has just one electrical bulb in his house.

Veguru Ravinder recently constructed a house in Thotapalligudu village of Nellore district. He has just one bulb and an electrical metre.

He was jolted when the officials asked him to approach the higher officials

In January and February, his electrical bill was just Rs 85 and Rs 87 respectively. However, he was shocked when got a bill of Rs Rs 8,73,696 for the month of March for the consumption of February. The bill said he had expended 1,26,517 units of power.

He approached the TRANSCO officials hoping to solve his issue. However, he was jolted when the officials asked him to approach the higher officials. Ravinder is in perplexed state not knowing what to do now.
