Etela Rajender Presents Telangana Annual Budget
Telangana finance minister Etela Rajender presented the budget for 2017-18 in Telangana assembly on Monday. In the legislative council, deputy chief minister Kadiyam Srihari presented the budget. Speaking on the occasion, he said he was presenting the budget for the fourth time and thanked chief minister KCR for giving him the honour.
He said Telangana was making progress faster than many states in the country and said several new methods have been put in place this year.

For Developmental Work: Rs 88038 crore
For Administration: Rs 61407 crore
Allocation for Education: Rs 12705 crore
For Irrigation: Rs 20000 crore
For agriculture: Rs 5942 crore
For Power Sector: 4203 crore
For Urban Development: Rs 5599 crore
For Industrial development: Rs 985 crore
Mission Bhagiratha: Rs 3000 crore
For Health Sector: Rs 5976 crore
For fees reimbursement: Rs 1339 crore.
For Minority Welfare: Rs 1249 crore
For BC welfare: Rs 5070 crore
For SC Welfare: Rs 14375 crore
For ST Welfare: Rs 8165 crore
For handloom sector: Rs 1200 crore
For Women and Child Welfare: Rs 1731 crore
Brahmin Welfare: Rs 100 crore
For Journalist welfare: Rs 30 crore
For Musi River Front Development: Rs 350 crore
