Rs. 77 lakh seized in Attapur ahead of GHMC polls

Hyderabad: Telangana State Revenue department officials seized Rs. 77 lakh in Attapur area of Hyderabad on Tuesday.

The revenue department officials caught hold of the person who was carrying the cash in a car and immediately handed him over to the police.

To curb the illegal transfer of money before the elections, the revenue department officials are conducting checks in various parts of the city.

The person carrying the cash is currently being investigated. Further details are awaited.
