Kishan Reddy strongly opposes Rahul Gandhi's visit - Sakshi Post

The BJP on Tuesday came out in strong defence of BJP ministers Bandaru Dattatreya and Smriti Irani in the incidents in the University of Hyderabad (UoH).

Addressing mediapersons, BJP state president G Kishan Reddy said one should not politicise the problems of the students. While the suicide of Rohit was unfortunate, politicising it was wrong, he said. He said Rohit and his friends had attacked the ABVP workers for opposing a meet got up in support of terrorist Yaqub Memon. Susheel, an ABVP worker was thrashed on August 3 and had to remain in hospital for several days, Kishan Reddy pointed out.
He also strongly criticised Rahul Gandhi's visit to the UoH. "Why did Rahul Gandhi not visit when three persons - two children and a woman - were burnt alive in Congress former MP Rajaiah's residence.  He also questioned TRS leader Kavitha for criticising Bandaru Dattatreya. He said KCR had promised to make a Dalit the first CM of Telangana state and had gone back on his word.
