Rs 3 crore black money, ACB arrests Inspector
Hyderabad: In a surprise round of raids, On Thursday, anti-corruption bureau (ACB) arrested an assistant motor vehicles inspector working in Mahabubnagar.
Inspector A Shiva Lingam worked at RTA check-post at Alampur in the district. Based on confirmed reports, ACB raided at his house and his relatives and associates at a time. The raid brought to light a residential building, a flat, 23 acres of agricultural land, four plots of land and 770 grams of gold ornaments, 2.3 kg silver, insurance policies of 23.8 lakh, two cars and two two-wheelers. The 'document value' of these assets is about 1.5 crore while the market value of the immovable properties alone is approximately Rs 3 crore, ACB found saying in a official statement.
