Entry Tax Row: Court allows T-government move
Hyderabad: High Court on Friday gave interim orders in Entry tax issue.
Commercial vehicle owners approached court on Telangana state's entry tax row. Telangana government from April 1 is collecting entry tax from all commercial vehicles and lorries which are entering state from Andhra Pradesh.
Once united states, will have Hyderabad as common capital for Ten years. So based on that law, some of the applicable vehicle owners moved court to stay the entry tax. On Friday, Court made is compulsory for all vehicles to pay entry tax. But the tax amount will be maintained in a separate account and will not be touched until the proceeding complete. Telangana government can file counter on plea of drivers in fifteen days time.
