Rohit's mother slams UoH VC

Hyderabad: Mother of research scholar Vemula Rohit, who hanged self after expulsion from University of Hyderabad by its vice chancellor, had demanded that the vice chancellor Appa Rao should tell what wrong did her son commit and what led to his rustication from the University and its premises.

The deceased Dalit scholar's mother mentioned that the vice chancellor had come to their place to talk to them after Rohit ended his life. She demanded to know why he tried to meet them in a thievish manner.

Meanwhile, the Executive Council had decided to lift the suspension of remaining four Dalit students on Thursday afternoon.
