RGV’s ‘Guns and Thighs’ Stokes Controversy; Lewdness, Violence Shock Viewers

Hyderabad: Ram Gopal Varma always carries his heart on sleeve and never shied away from speaking his mind out. The maverick director has yet again stirred a controversy with the release of his new web series titled Guns and Thighs. Many have condemned the trailer for the gory scenes and also for the lewd content.

The director in his tweets said that censorship and time constraint restricted him from going beyond a certain point. But, there are no such limitations in the web world, he said.

The 6.50 minute trailer is based on Dawood Ibrahim, Chota Rajan vintage mafia world in Mumbai.

The web series is produced by Ram Gopal Varma Talkies and Stormcell Entertainment, a German based company. The series is said to have four seasons each with 10 episodes.
