Revanth Reddy's release delayed

The release of scam-tainted TDP MLA Revanth Reddy, who was granted a conditional bail on Tuesday, got deffered due to delay in completing the jail formalities.

Revanth, who was arrested on May 31 while he was handing over bribe of Rs.50 lakh to nominated legislator Elvis Stephenson to induce him to vote for TDP-BJP candidate in Telangana legislative council elections, has failed to submit the original court order granting bail and deposit the security amount to the investigating officer before the jail timings. 

According to sources Reddy will be released today if his lawyers complete all the jail formalities failing which the TDP leader's release might get delayed.
