Retired IAS officer Ramanachari joins TRS

Retired IAS official K V Ramanachary on Sunday joined Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) in the presence of its president K Chandrasekhara Rao.

KCR welcomed Ramanachary into the party and said he would take active role in the Telangana movement. Meanwhile, the entry of Ramanachary created ripples in a section of party leaders following speculations that he might be chosen for Medak Parliament seat replacing Vijayashanti. Ramanachary is a native of Siddipet in Medak Lok Sabha constituency.

He opted a voluntary retirement from government service as principal secretary of Endowment department. A debate is going on in political circles that he may be chosen for Medak Parliamentary seat.
