Remember Aleppo Boy Omran, See How He Looks Today!!

Remember Omran Daqneesh, the little boy, whose pic hogged limelight for the shaken and traumatised look after he was rescued from the rubble during Syrian Government's attack on Aleppo? The image caused a worldwide outpour of anger and grief at the civilian plight in the Syrian war. The pic released in August 2016 turned him into a global icon.

The three-year-old boy today is hale and healthy. The latest pictures show him in good condition. His pics sitting in his father's lap were released. Interestingly, while the Western media went overboard slamming the Assad regime, the family of Omran appears to be staunchly supporting Syrian regmine. They refused all media interviews and reportedly went into regime-held west Aleppo as soon as they had a chance.

In an anti-climax, the child's father said the rebels tried to use his son's image to further their agenda.
