Record coal production in Singareni
Singareni Collieries set a new record by producing 52.1 million tonnes of coal during 2012-13 fiscal year.
As many as 50 mines spread in Khammam, Warangal, Adilabad and Karimnagar districts created this record with their huge output. The 21st incline at Yellandu, JK 5 open cast and Koyagudem open cast mines have produced highest coal production during the year. It was highest in the history of Singareni Collieries with 50 lakh tones of coal production.
