Govt to retrieve lands from industries
Minister for major industries Geeta Reddy on Monday reiterated that lands would be taken back from the industries which were not started even after the stipulated time.
The Minister said about 1073 notices have been served to the companies for taking back the lands. The Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (APIIC) has already initiated steps to take back lands from the non-starter industries. About 2,947 acres have been retrieved from the industrialists in 67 cases and notices have been issued in 1073 cases, Geeta Reddy said.
