Rayapati too to follow Kavuri?

Today's Union Cabinet reshuffle has ruffled the feathers of some senior Congress leaders in the State. If it was Kavuri Sambasiva Rao yesterday, today it is senior MP Rarayapati Sambasiva Rao, who too openly expressed his dissatisfaction over the induction of some juniors in the Ministry.

While Kavuri has already decided to quit his Lok Sabha seat, Rayapati told mediapersons in Guntur today that he would take a decision after discussing the issue with his supporters and also his brother. "I will decide my future course of action in a day or two after holding discussions with my supporters and also my brother. The injustice to the party seniors in the Cabinet rejig will be dwelt at length during the meeting," he said airing his unhappiness at the way he was ignored by the Congress High Command.

Kavuri on Saturday resigned from the Lok Sabha after getting hints that he will not find place in today's Cabinet reshuffle. He has sent his resignation letter to Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. Though the party Delhi leaders and Chief Minister Kiran kumar Reddy made every effort to pacify Kavuri, till this evening he refused to budge.
