Mala Mahanadu leader done to death
YSR district convener of Mala Mahanadu Sagar was allegedly done to death by some unidentified persons this morning.
According to police, Sagar, who was moving near the Pullaredypet Bypass Road junction near Duvvur mandal headquarters town in the district this morning when was allegedly attacked by some miscreants with lethal weapons.
He sustained multiple injuries on his body in the attack. The assailants fled the scene after attacking Sagar. A profusely bleeding Sagar was shifted to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced brought dead by the doctors.
Police said that the motive behind the attack was not immediately known but Sagar was an active Mala Mahanadu leader in the district. Besides being the convener of the district unit of the organsiation, he was instrumental in strengthening it in the YSR district. The police have launched a massive manhunt to nab the culprits.
