Rayapati to quit MP post if Telangana declared

The state division issue has hot up again. Several ministers and MPs are announcing their stand on the issue.

The latest opinion comes from Guntur MP Rayapati Sambasiva Rao. Speaking to media in Guntur, he made it clear that he would quit his MP post if the state is divided. He would vote for Samaikyandhra if  referendum over Telangana issue is called, he said on Wednesday. 

Vijayawada MP Lagadapti Rajagopal also announced that he would retire from politics if the state is divided.
