Ravela Susheel Sent Back to Chanchalguda Jail after Police Remand - Sakshi Post

Hyderabad: Ravela Susheel, who was booked under Nirbhaya Act for stalking a woman and trying to pull her into his car, was produced in court by Banjara Hills police on Friday after the completion of two-day police custody.

Susheel, son of Andhra Pradesh Minister of Social Welfare, Empowerment, Tribal Welfare, Empowerment Ravela Kishore Babu, and his driver Ramesh were arrested by Banjara Hills police on charges of outraging modesty of a woman after a school teacher Fatima Begum complained on May 3 and sent to 14-day remand. Later, the court had ordered a two-day police custody for interrogation.

After the hearing in the court, Ravela Susheel and his accomplice driver Ramesh were sent to Chanchalguda jail.

Whose was that car? Why it was bearing 'MLA' sticker?

Ravela Susheel and his driver Ramesh were grilled by the Banjara Hills police on various angles. It came to light during the interrogation the car used by them at the time of the incident bearing number plate of AP07 CK 1777 was registered on Susheel's friend Narayana Swamy who belongs to Piduguralla of Guntur district. Cops also inquired in the angle why the car was bearing 'MLA' sticker and why it took diversion to Road No. 13 towards Uday Nagar when it was supposed to go towards Taj Banjara directly from Ministers Quarters.

Police registered cases under Section 354 (outraging modesty of a woman), 354 D (stalking) and 509 (word, gesture or act intended to outrage the modesty of a woman) of Indian Penal Code (Nirbhaya Act) against Susheel and his aide.
